IMDEX ASIA 2009

a

Imdex Asia 2009 is the only dedicated international maritime defence show serving the Asia Pacific Region held from 12 – 14 May 2009 in Singapore. Together with our Singapore subsidiary - Nojdhs Underwater Technology Pte Ltd, we participated as an exhibitor - NOJDHS.

The event marked a new milestone for NOJDHS with the joint effort of Nojdhs Elektronik AB and Transas Scandinavia AB for the first time to display our upgraded version – Periscope Simulator. Only with the continuous support and interest from our customer’s base in this region, NOJDHS successfully showcase our core competencies and solutions.

Our displays: -

  • NEDA Inverters – AC motor drives supplied from a DC mains. A demonstration was done to share on the principal of driving the unit at its highest efficiency built-in with a soft start.
  • Submarine Battery Monitoring System – Measurement of voltage, Acid level and Acid Temperature with our In house developed software.
  • Periscope Simulator – Classroom training for Submarine system with virtual and real time simulation.
  • Inductive Proximity Switches – Tested at 250m depth and chock level of 2000g. A demonstration combined with our NEDA  Inverter. The unit is used as a speed regulator.
  • Diver Signalling System – Cross communication for exchange of messages between a submarine with the divers.
  • Electronic PCB - Design and development PCB using the state-of -art technology and EMC considerations.
  • Rapid Prototyping – Design and Development of 3D Form Fit and Function prototype using CAD - Solidworks.
  • Maintenance Services – Overhauling, Troubleshooting and Repair and Full scale maintenance.

We participated as an exhibitor, and presented:

NEDA inverters, AC-motor drives supplied from a DC mains
Submarine battery monitoring system
Periscope simulator, for a general submarine training system
Ah counter system, keeps track of the remaining battery charge
Inductive proximity switches, tested to 250m depth and 2000g
Diver Signalling System, for the exchange of messages between a submarine and divers

Imdex Asia 2005

Imdex Asia was a four day exhibition and conference in Singapore that took place 17-20 May 2005. The exhibition covered a variety of topics in naval defence technology.

f Thanks to the generous cooperation from the Swedish Navy, Lieutenant Commander Per-Erik Nyström joined us in the exhibitor team. He is here demonstrating the Periscope Simulator for an officer from the Singapore Navy.
Mr Thomas Nöjdh is discussing the Proximity Switches that are installed in the Singapore submarines and Mr Jan Lindholm is demonstrating the DC/AC-converter for an officer from the Sri Lanka Navy. g

Humans In Submarines 2004

Humans in Submarines was a three day conference in Stockholm in conjunction with the celebration of the centennial anniversary of the Swedish Submarine Service.

The speakers came from 15 different nations on 5 continents so there are good reasons to call Humans in Submarines an international meeting. About 30% of the submitted abstracts addresses the internal environment and air treatment in submarines. About 20% deal with each of the topics; -training of personnel and psychology, -individual rescue, and -rescue systems.

The conference was a part of the celebration of the centennial of the Swedish submarine service. There where several official representatives, and crews from visiting submarines and ships, from various nations in Stockholm during the week.

Nöjdhs Elektronik participated as a sponsor and as an exhibitor at the conference.
